Race Summary: 84 total riders for the first Cadence Race of the season. This year’s series includes KOM and Sprint competitions which are scored separately from race finishes. Temperature was 35 degrees at start time.

The first sprint and KOM competition were announced in the first lap to take place in the second; one right after the other. This effectively tore the peleton into two pieces which never rejoined.
